Uplyft Workers Ltd ("Uplyft Talent", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it when you respond to one of our LinkedIn ads, visit uplyft-talent.com, book a demo or get in touch with us.

Who we are

Uplyft Talent is a trading name of Uplyft Workers Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17007633), and we are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What data we collect

When you fill in one of our LinkedIn ad forms. Some of our LinkedIn ads include a form, for example to request a free resource. When you submit it, LinkedIn passes us the details in the form, which include:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Any other details the form asks for, such as your company or job title

LinkedIn may pre-fill some of these from your LinkedIn profile. You can check and change them before you submit the form.

When you book a demo. Demo bookings are made through a calendar provided by Calendly, embedded on this site. When you book, we receive:

• Your first and last name
• Your email address
• The date and time you choose, and your time zone
• Anything else you choose to tell us in the booking form, such as your company, phone number or notes about what you'd like to discuss

When you email us. We receive your email address and anything you include in your message.

We do not collect payment details through this site.

How we use your data

We use the information you give us to:

• Send you the resource you requested through a LinkedIn ad form
• Contact you by email or phone to follow up on your request and tell you more about how Uplyft Talent could help your agency
• Send you marketing emails about Uplyft Talent, such as tips, updates and offers for recruitment agencies (see "Email marketing" below)
• Arrange, run and follow up on your demo
• Respond to your enquiry
• Send you information about Uplyft Talent's services that relates to your enquiry
• Keep a record of enquiries and bookings for our own business purposes

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

If you'd rather we didn't contact you again, just reply to any of our emails, tell us on the phone or email hello@uplyft-talent.com, and we'll stop.

Email marketing

If you give us your details through one of our LinkedIn ad forms, when booking a demo or by getting in touch, we may add you to our mailing list and send you occasional marketing emails about Uplyft Talent. These are aimed at recruitment professionals and cover things like outreach tips, product updates and offers.

Where you've ticked a box or otherwise agreed to receive our emails, we send them on the basis of your consent. Where you've given us a business email address in a professional context, we may send them on the basis of our legitimate interests in telling businesses about services relevant to them.

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time, free of charge, using that link or by emailing hello@uplyft-talent.com, and we'll stop sending you marketing emails straight away. We'll keep a record that you've opted out so we don't contact you by mistake.

Legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR, we process your data because it's necessary to take steps you've asked us to take, such as arranging a demo, and on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, following up with people who have asked for information from us, and running our business. Where we rely on your consent, for example for certain cookies, you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share your data with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run this site and our booking process. They only process your data to provide their service to us:

• Calendly provides our booking calendar and processes the details you enter when you book. Calendly may process data outside the UK, with appropriate safeguards in place. See Calendly's privacy notice.
• ActiveCampaign stores our mailing list and sends our emails on our behalf. It may record whether an email was opened or a link was clicked, so we can see which content is useful. ActiveCampaign may process data outside the UK, with appropriate safeguards in place. See ActiveCampaign's privacy policy.
• Google Fonts supplies the fonts used on this site. When a page loads, your browser requests the fonts from Google's servers, which receive your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
• LinkedIn hosts our ad forms and passes us the details you submit, and helps us deliver and measure our advertising, as described below. LinkedIn is responsible for how it handles data on its own platform, under LinkedIn's privacy policy.

We may also share data where we're required to by law.

Cookies and advertising

The booking calendar may set cookies that Calendly needs to make it work and to remember your choices while you book.

We advertise on LinkedIn. If you arrive at this site via a LinkedIn ad, or if we use LinkedIn's measurement tools on this site, LinkedIn may set its own cookies and use its own tracking technologies to deliver and measure that advertising, in accordance with LinkedIn's privacy policy. We only receive aggregated, anonymised campaign reporting from LinkedIn, not information that identifies you.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, although parts of the booking calendar may not work without them.

How long we keep your data

We keep ad form, booking and enquiry data for as long as we need it to respond to you and keep reasonable business records, and no longer than 24 months from your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we're required by law to keep it longer. If you become a customer, your data will be handled under the terms of your agreement with us.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict how we process your data
• Withdraw your consent, where we rely on it
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data we hold from unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
